Position Description

As a Registered Dietitian, you will have the opportunity to work with our seniors to enhance their food and nutrition experience. This involves auditing meal service, staff development, and completing assessments on residents that have nutritional concerns.

Part Time: 20 hours / Week
Schedule: Monday - Friday - Flexible Hours

Responsibilities:

Responsible for assessing assigned clients' nutritional needs, develop and implement nutrition care and meal plans.
Counsel clients on basic rules of good nutrition, healthy eating habits, and nutrition monitoring to improve their quality of life.
Confer with doctors and other health care professionals in order to coordinate medical and nutritional needs.
Advise patients and their families on nutritional principles, dietary plans, diet modifications, food selection and preparation.
Updating and using relevant knowledge, follow nutritional practices, and use quality assurance techniques
Participating in staff education activities and providing consultation to facility personnel.
Providing direction to the foodservice supervisor.

Desired Qualifications

Qualifications:

- Core skills in health coaching, physiology knowledge, nutrition, and dietetics are essential for this role. Premium skills such as patient assessment, tube feeding, and diagnostic evaluation are highly valued. Experience in Korean cuisine, quality assurance practices, and outpatient settings will be advantageous. A valid Registered Dietitian certification is required.
