SPEAKERS TO INCLUDE:
- Major Sam Davis’ talk on ethics and leadership meets AND/ADA ethics mandatory CEU/CPEU requirements.
- Our Jan Madden and OHCQ Key Health Policy Analyst Amanda Thomas will update us on upcoming Maryland regulation changes in ALF and LTC; Jan will also address survey issues.
- Major Sam Davis’ second talk on cultural competence will reflect his experience gained in his many years of experience in corrections and many years as a sought after speaker.
- Stacy Conover’s renal nutrition lecture will review updates in the field relevant to LTC. It will also address attendee evaluation feedback requesting for more renal.
- Timothy Davis’ “Dining with Dignity” will address another change we are seeing in our environment with movement from trays to table services
- Phyllis Mcshane will review new AND/ADA continuing education portfolio starting this summer for members who complete their 5-year renewal. AND is going from a 16-page booklet to a 72-page book of several hundred competencies. So lets make sense of it together
- UMD interns will again be presenting tech tools
