Maryland Dietetic Association Find a Dietitian

How can a dietitian help you?  Dietitians can provide a variety of services to individuals, businesses, organizations, long-term care facilities, and restaurants.  Many people are concerned about their health and would like a dietitian to assist them with modifying their diets.  Businesses and organizations may hire a dietitian to provide wellness classes or other nutrition programs or seminars for their employees or members.  Long-term care facilities often require consultant dietitians for nutrition assessment, treatment and menu development.  Restaurants may need help with menu development and recipe analysis.

The American Dietetic Association (ADA) offers a free national referral service that can help you locate a dietitian in your area. Visit the ADA Web site for more information and/or to begin your search.

If you are a Registered Dietitian and you would like to be included in the referral network, visit the members-only section of the ADA Web site and click on the Nationwide Nutrition Network or call the ADA's Member Service Center (during regular business hours) at 1-800-877-1600, ext. 5000.
